Your Peace of Mind Protection Plan

PSS Protect is our comprehensive damage waiver program designed to give both hosts and guests complete peace of mind during every rental. For just $49.00 per day, guests receive extensive protection that waives their financial responsibility for covered damage costs.

How PSS Protect Works

PSS Protect is a damage waiver program, not insurance. When you purchase PSS Protect, Powersport Share agrees to waive your financial responsibility for covered physical damage to the rental vehicle, subject to the terms and conditions below.

Important: PSS Protect does not replace the need for personal liability insurance. All renters must maintain valid liability insurance coverage.

Coverage Amounts

PSS Protect provides substantial damage waiver limits for all vehicle types:

• UTVs: Up to $20,000 in damage waiver coverage
• ATVs: Up to $10,000 in damage waiver coverage
• Snowmobiles: Up to $10,000 in damage waiver coverage

Insurance Verification Required

Before any rental can take place, both guests and hosts must submit their insurance information through our verification system. This ensures:

• All parties have valid liability insurance coverage
• Claims can be processed efficiently
• Everyone is protected throughout the rental period

What's Covered

PSS Protect waives your responsibility for accidental physical damage to the rental vehicle that occurs during your rental period, including:

Covered Events:

• Collision with another vehicle or object
• Rollover incidents on designated trails
• Theft of the entire vehicle (police report required within 24 hours)
• Vandalism by third parties (police report required)
• Weather-related damage (hail, falling trees, etc.)

Coverage Conditions:

• Damage must occur while operating on legal trails/areas only
• Guest must be the sole operator or have authorized additional drivers
• Incident must be reported within 2 hours of occurrence
• All safety equipment must have been worn as required

NOT COVERED:

• Mechanical breakdowns or engine failure
• Damage from prohibited activities (racing, stunts, etc.)
• Damage while under influence of drugs/alcohol
• Intentional damage or misuse
• Damage from operating in restricted areas
• Normal wear and tear
• Pre-existing damage
• Damage exceeding coverage limits listed above

Important Coverage Details

• Damage waiver is provided on an excess (secondary) basis
• Rentals must be conducted entirely through the Powersport Share platform
• Any portion of the transaction that bypasses our platform will invalidate coverage
• Coverage applies in all 50 states

Cost and Billing

PSS Protect is automatically added to your rental at $49.00 per day. This fee is included in your total rental cost and provides comprehensive damage waiver protection throughout your entire rental period.

Claims Process

In the unlikely event of damage:

1. Report the incident immediately through our platform
2. Our support team will guide you through the claims process
3. Insurance verification will be processed through our system
4. Damage waiver will be applied according to the terms outlined above
